ABOUT PARFUMS J’AREE HAGÉ
J’Aree Hagé, the favorite perfume of President Ronald Reagan, was given as international gifts to world leaders and celebrities. In its time as a world-class luxury house, Hagé provided a creative reference for Bijan, Catalyst, Dior, Belmay, Givaudan and other perfume entities. Based in Beverly Hills for over a decade with sourcing offices in Paris and Vienna, Hagé enjoyed a highly exclusive and selective worldwide reputation as the only perfume manufacturer and distributor to ever offer the rare and great perfumes of history across international cultures.
Through a luxurious menu, the House of Hagé opens sensory doors onto the ultimate magnificence of 18th century French perfumes housed in hand-adorned palace flacons. Expanding from French formulas, the collection ranges across continents and time spans, bringing to life Incan, Middle Eastern, Asiatic and esoteric cultural essences - evoked in rare artifact embellished bottles. Importantly, J’Aree Hagé’s scholarship has uncovered the basis of the ancient Islamic perfumer Al-Kindi along with an array of indigenous resources. Through J’Aree Hagé, each perfume has been created, brought to life and market tested through a spectrum of talents. Indeed, for over two decades, the company employed over five hundred artisans devoted to evoking historically magnificent perfumes. The House of Hagé relied upon the artistry of rare micro-essence and enfluerage practitioners, perfume blending chemists, exquisite European needle workers and embroiderers, jewelers, painters, bottle designers, hand-made paper card artists, and other specialists. Every flacon and card has been personally signed by Hagé.
THE OFFERING
The offering can be enjoyed as a state-of-art personal collection or retained as the ultimate reference resource for a new luxury international fragrance business with license to brand under a new or existing trademark name. However, it comes to be enjoyed, the sheer range and number of superb and unrivalled fragrances catalogued in this present offering presents the opportunity to hold one of the greatest perfume collections in existence.
The House of Hagé inventory is the largest collection of market-tested finished examples and legal production rights ever offered for sale in a single transaction. Such a substantial claim of scope is made possible through Hagé’s historic format that issued just 24 magnificent examples of each perfume during its term of production through the 1990’s. Indeed, Hagé conducted much wider test sampling markets for each fragrance at twenty–six J’Aree Hage’ boutique counters that were located in major American cities on the west coast. Realizing spectacular success, Hagé began to set aside finished artist proofs of the strategic test market, forming an official FDA library of the rarest editions which constitute the present offering. Sequestering and storing the perfume in the manner of investment grade fine wine in a temperature controlled vault, each Hagé perfume has been preserved in the form of a historic hand-built, boxed and finished artist’s example from the period of its official production.
The offering entails 90 perfume types. There are 201 superb examples of 46 kinds of perfume for men and 174 exquisite examples of 44 kinds of perfume for women. In total, the collection offers 375 American FDA examples which comprise all Hagé intact rarities that exist in the world.
